After playing RPGs for quite some time I have learned a few things.
You can walk in anyone's house and raid the cupboards and such and they will not say anything.
You can carry anything you want, as long as you have a slot in your bag or backpack for it. After all, a small stone weighs they same and is the same size as a heavy broadsword, we all know that.
Beasts and non-human type creatures routinely carry gold and/or weapons and armor. Even if the have no place to keep them.
Sleep is over-rated. Most of the time it is never needed.
Your horse/pet/companion is at most just a whistle away, no matter where you are.
You have no trouble ever trying to see the King/Mayor/Etc even if you have never to been that city or country before and are completely unknown.
Food and drink are options not a necessary thing in life.
I am sure as I wake up some more I will think of even more to add.
Unlike in games, I do need sleep on occasion.
